July 15, day 9 of the South AfricanBoltonTravelers adventure

Hello all, So very sorry that I could not add to this blog sooner.  First time I am at a computer:) We have been up at 5:30 every morning, bfast by 6am then out on a game drive by 6:30am. It is amazing how easy it is for the travelers to wake up when they know we may see elephants, giraffe, hippo, Kudo, lion or Zebra.  We all will be up by 6am when we get back to the states.  haha. Our adventure has been fantastic! We have walked with Giraffe and Elephant. We have seen Leopard and all the grazers and brousers, and we have witnessed the feeding habits of lions eating including a Hyena eating the remains of a cape buffalo and 40 vultures scraping the leftovers!  We are very safe, and the guides (including Lee gutteridge the head guide) has made our visit wonderful, a trip of a lifetime! this is absolutely AWESOME! We visited a local village and played soccer (futbol) with a group of children who kicked our tchadra's. (asses) haha.  we lost miserably but had such a great time!  We danced and sang lots of shangaan songs and ate there typical food at the cultural village. It was quite an experience.  Today we met with a Richard who is the Warden of Kruger who is in charge of the rangers and taking care of poachers who come in and try to kill Rhino.  It was an shocking educational workshop.  Also the reptile man, Yens, taught a lesson on reptiles and had everyone hold and talk to SNAKES!! AWEsome again!! It has been a wonderful experience for all of us and we will have so many pics to share with all of you. I will not be able to write again so we will see you on Sat.

Totsiens, (good bye)
Karen and the Bolton Travelers!!
